Running with Purpose: KiDz HuB Wraps Impactful Coverage of the 129th Penn Relays

Updated: May 2

The 129th running of the Penn Relays was a celebration of speed, spirit, and storytelling. While athletes blazed the track, KiDz HuB Media Network was busy capturing the soul of the carnival, amplifying youth voices, and broadcasting culture from the ground up.

With over 113,000 spectators, 15,000+ athletes, and over 600 teams competing across three electric days at Philadelphia's historic Franklin Field, KiDz HuB’s 13th consecutive year of coverage marked a new era of youth-driven media.

The 2025 coverage was also part of KiDz HuB’s 15th anniversary celebrations, having now trained over 30,000 Junior Broadcasters globally. It also commemorated 13 years of collaboration with Team Jamaica Bickle, an enduring partnership that has created platforms for young Caribbean voices and stories to shine on one of the world’s biggest athletic stages.

For over 13 years, KiDz HuB Media Network and Team Jamaica Bickle (TJB) have partnered to give youth a global voice through media coverage of the Penn Relays. This impactful collaboration provides Junior Broadcasters with hands-on experience in journalism, production, and storytelling—while highlighting TJB’s vital role in supporting Caribbean athletes. Together, we amplify culture, community, and youth empowerment on an international stage.
