A Celebration of Irish Culture and Community: The South Amboy St. Patrick's Day Parade is a beloved tradition that honors Irish culture and celebrates the rich heritage of the community. From colorful floats to traditional music and dance, the parade is a spectacle that captures the spirit of the holiday and brings people together in joyous celebration. History of KiDz HuB Media's Coverage: Our coverage began over 5 years ago, in a partnership with the South Amboy St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee, The City South Amboy and more recently, South Amboy TV. Since then, we have had the opportunity to help tell the story of this parade - one of the biggest events in South Amboy and one of the largest parades in the State of NJ. Through our coverage of events like the South Amboy St. Patrick's Day Parade, we provide opportunities for aspiring journalists and broadcasters to gain real-world experience and develop their skills in a supportive and collaborative environment. Step Off at 2 PM The South Amboy Parade Committee proudly announces the 2023 Parade Honorees: 2024 Grand Marshal - Michael "Mickey" Gross The Parade Committee is proud to announce that Micheal “Mickey” Gross, a well-known and respected resident of South Amboy, will serve as Grand Marshal. 2024 Deputy Grand Marshal - Yolanda Flores Keasbey resident Yolanda Flores will serve as Deputy Grand Marshal. Her dedication to her city, clients, family, and committee members has been an inspiration to all. This parade is one of the biggest events in South Amboy and has become one of the largest parades in the State of NJ, with more than 23 bands and over 2,000 marchers. Much of the success of the parade is due to the donations and generosity of local businesses, corporations and individual sponsors.
