Summer of 2019 is shaping out to be great, as I have been chosen to do an audition for a summer TV program called “Watch N Win” aired on Television Jamaica (TVJ) here in Jamaica West Indies. I am one of ten persons from my school who has been chosento audition to host the program. I am very excited and hopeful that I do not feel nervous to the point that it affects my performance.
I auditioned last year and we were asked to work in pairs and go up against children from other schools to try to get a spot. Unfortunately I did not get a spot then, because of my age. I was ten years old at the time but the required age was from 11 years old to 12 years old. This year, I am 11 and eligible to be selected. I also believe I am much more confident the second time around and stand a better chance of getting the opportunity to host the show.
I think it would be very cool to make the cut and I can only imagine how much fun it would be to shoot different episodes and to visit different places to host the show for the months of July and August. It would be a great Summer. It would also be something useful to do since I will not betravelling to New York to visit my grandmother and uncle.
Given the opportunity, I am hoping to develop the skill of speaking more freely and confidently. With this skill, I would get one step closer to my dream job of becoming a lawyer. All I can do at this point is to do my best at the audition and pray to make the cut.
